Morgan Pershing

Assistive Technology Librarian
Braille and Talking Book Library
Sacramento, CA

Morgan Rose Pershing is the Assistive Technology Librarian at Braille and Talking Books Library in Sacramento. She has served in positions from librarian to management, and has worked with all age groups. Morgan is also an adjust professor for San Jose State University's iSchool. She has taught the classes Community Partnerships and Graphic Novels for Adults and is currently teaching an Introduction to Adult Services class. Morgan was the recipient of CLA's Member of the Year award in 2018 and recently published the article Considering Community Partnerships and New Projects: Advice from the Field in Journal of Library Administration (2023).
