Jana Waitman

Senior Librarian in Adult Services

Jana Waitman is a senior librarian at Ontario City Library with an MLS from the University of Arizona. With 18 years in Ontario, she has implemented thousands of programs for all ages, including story times, large-scale events, and virtual videos created during the pandemic. She made the move from Youth to Adult Services to, among other things, establish and build the adult literacy program and to buy adult books. Jana loves talking about TV shows, the MCU, scrapbooking, Star Wars, sewing, true crime, and many other topics and fandoms that this word count won’t allow.
