Rachel Hughes

Rachel Hughes has been a Librarian at the Northside Branch for the Santa Clara City Library for 5 years. She graduated from SJSU with her MLIS in May 2017. Rachel studied both Anthropology and CS for her undergraduate degree from U.C. Davis. Due to her love of books, learning, and her desire to spread information, Rachel has wanted to be a librarian since she was young. Rachel is in charge of coding intiatives, children's/YA programming, and manages all types of collections: Children's, YA, and Adult. She is a new member of the CYRM committee, beginning her term in January 2023.
