Shirley Ly

Children's Librarian
Los Angeles Public Library - Echo Park Branch

Shirley Ly has been with LAPL for many years, and loves her position as a Children's Librarian at the Echo Park Branch. From visiting students in their classrooms, to reading picture books aloud during Storytime at the library and sharing Bilingual Vietnamese Storytime, or experimenting with different projects for STEAM programs, being a Children's Librarian has brought so many opportunities for Shirley to grow not only as a professional but also as a person. She hopes to continue in spreading the joy of learning, reading, and experimenting with children and families for many more years to come.
