Deborah Doyle, MLIS, is currently Chair of the Sonoma County Library Commission. She is President of ALA's United for Libraries Division and a member of CLA's Advocacy and Legislative Committee. She has been as an active library advocate and fundraiser—professional and volunteer—at all levels and is the only person to receive CLA's President’s Award twice. Writer, editor and fundraiser, Deborah has worked at Friends of SFPL, Dolby Laboratories, Booz Allen, Heidrick & Struggles and the Council on Economic Priorities. She lives in Windsor, CA.
