Marcie Jones

Marcie Jones, a Senior Librarian with a master’s degree in library science from Clark Atlanta University, is affiliated with the Los Angeles Public Library, where she oversees branch operations, staff, programming, and the collection at the Washington Irving Branch. Her career includes roles at Howrey Simon Arnold & White, California State University, Los Angeles Library, and Mount Saint Mary’s College. She is an active member of the California Black Librarians Caucus, serving as treasurer. Outside of her professional life, Marcie enjoys jazz and exploring the diverse neighborhoods of Los Angeles, taking nature walks, and spending quality time with her family.
