Gia Forsyth

Teen Services Librarian
Santa Monica Public Library

Gia Forsyth is the Teen Services Librarian for the City of Santa Monica. She is currently serving on the Printz Award Committee. She has reviewed books for Kirkus and The Bulletin. She presented on Teen Social Justice Book Clubs at the YALSA Symposium in 2023 and wrote about how to start them for We Need Diverse Books in 2020. She is passionate about giving teens opportunities to pursue their goals by giving them a variety of workforce development experiences and creative outlets.
