Julie Yamashita is Archivist at the Lanterman Historical Museum Foundation. Before joining the Lanterman House, Julie worked and consulted for numerous local, national, and international organizations, including the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, the Broad Art Foundation, the Library of Congress, the National Library of Ireland, and the Historical Society of Long Beach. She has been a member of the L.A. as Subject’s Archives at Risk Committee since its inception.
