Christina DiCaro

Christina DiCaro is a lobbyist at KP Public Affairs and has served as CLA's contract lobbyist for 30 years. Through Christina's State Budget-related advocacy, she has helped to secure millions of dollars in funding to connect libraries to CENIC, plus $500 million in 2021-22 and 2022-23, which included $489 million in library infrastructure grants. She has also helped to pass two statewide library construction bond bills, and secured passage of a bill to modernize CLA's landmark library circulation records law. This year, Christina worked extensively with CLA leaders and the bill's author on the "Freedom to Read" bill, AB 1825-Muratsuchi.
