Megan Maloy

Senior Librarian of Youth Services & San José Youth Commission

San Jose, CA

Megan Maloy is the Senior Librarian of Youth Services, overseeing TeenHQ and the San José Youth Commission at San José Public Library. She has worked on youth civic engagement with SJ Engage, maintained a diverse collection of young adult titles, led Mock Printz training for library staff, and created the YA Friday blog series. She is the 2023 California Library Association Young Adult Services Award recipient. When not in a Youth Commission meeting, you can find her drinking iced coffee, matching books to Taylor Swift songs, and collecting more stamps in her National Parks Passport.
