Dominique Dozier

California Librarians Black Caucus , CA

Dominique Dozier is a 2024 ALA Emerging Leader and the Student Success Librarian at Santa Clara University. Before joining SCU, she was a library technician and Adjunct Librarian Faculty at Laney College Library. She earned her MLIS from San José State University in 2021. She is a Library Commissioner for the City of Hayward. Dominique serves as the Secretary for the California Librarians Black Caucus (CLBC), where she supports social media and publishes a monthly newsletter for members. Her research interests include inclusive pedagogy, instruction to first-year college students, and recruitment and retention of BIPOC professionals in LIS.
