Carolyn F. Norman

California Librarians Black Caucus

Carolyn F. Norman is the President of the California Librarians Black Caucus and a library consultant with QualityMetrics. She has experience as an academic librarian and served as a state level library and learning resources policy and program specialist with the Chancellor’s Office, California Community Colleges for the 100+ libraries in the college system.
She was instrumental in advancing initiatives at the local, state and national level including the development of a statistics program, the first systemwide master plan for the library program and securing a telecommunication planning grant for the college system. Carolyn has received state and national recognition.
