Erica Cuyugan

Erica Cuyugan is the Director of Library Services at Santa Monica Public Library. She started with the City as a Teen Services Librarian in 2006 and rose through the ranks to become a branch manager, Assistant Director, and finally her current role as Director in 2022. In Santa Monica, Erica works to create a culture of learning and collaboration within her team, city colleagues, and community. She values connection, service, and curiosity. Erica previously served on the CLA Board, was a Eureka Leadership Institute Fellow, and is passionate about professional development and mentorship.
