Rachel Zimmerman Brachman is a public engagement specialist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. She earned a bachelor's degree in physics from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts and a Master of Space Studies from the International Space University in Strasbourg, France. Growing up in London, Ontario, Canada as the daughter of a university reference librarian, Rachel was taught at a young age that she could learn anything, and this has served her well throughout her life. Rachel is a space educator, a writer, an inventor, a mom, and a knitter. She lives in Sherman Oaks, California.
