Marian Simmons, MLIS, is the Youth Services Specialist for the Sacramento Public Library (SPL) where she focuses on systemwide programs and services for kids ages 6-12 and supports staff at the library's 28 locations. She is also the coordinator for the Summer Reading Challenge at SPL.
