Katie DeKorte

Adult Services Specialist
Sacramento Public Library, CA

Katie DeKorte is the first staff member to serve in the role of Adult Services Specialist at Sacramento Public Library. She started her public library career as a teen volunteer and has spent the past 15+ years working in libraries across Sacramento County and in a variety of capacities. Her favorite activities are hosting book group discussions for adults, connecting with community members at outreach events, and brainstorming nontraditional library programs for adults. When she's not at work, Katie can be found reading for pleasure, knitting, or watching a Sacramento Kings game.
