A management team that is aligned with an organization’s mission, values and goals is key to a functional and healthy workplace. In this workshop, we will explore establishing an effective structure of communication within a management team, which includes creating a safe space to share and learn from one another. In addition, we will discuss why committing to the work of the management team is essential to a healthy relationship between management and library staff. To conclude, we will demonstrate why individual core values are fundamental to building the core values of a management team.
