New California legislation – SB 321 (Ashby) – makes it easier for libraries to put Student Success cards into the hands of every California kid who wants one. By cultivating effective partnerships between libraries and schools, we can provide students with the best possible chance for success inside and outside the classroom.
The Student Success Cards for All program helps libraries provide greater access to library resources for school-aged youth through meaningful partnership and collaboration with local school districts. Presenters from the California State Library, the California Department of Education, a California school district and a California public library will discuss student success cards – the who, what, where, when, why and how of the partnership.
Come learn, share and discuss how you can partner with school districts to bring Student Success cards to your community!
